solving and the joy that I always get from seeing how much people love and cherish their pets. The bond that families form with their puppies and kittens from day one and the unconditional love that they display with their older geriatric pets. It’s an important part of my life to educate people on disease processes and to be able to give people options and advice during potentially stressful times.
There is no doubt that things have changed in veterinary medicine, people’s pets are their family members, their buddies and sometimes all we have. I am so lucky to be able to further the human animal bond and facilitate amazing care at such an inspirational hospital as Mt. Tabor Veterinary Care.

The Loves of My Life
The loves of my life are my husband Michael, my two stepsons Blake and Shawn, my beloved dog Jackson who has recently been through so much with his treatment for cancer (he is doing great!), and my crazy kitty boy Lenny. While studying in the Caribbean I adopted an island dog, Scarlet and a stray kitty Louis (AKA the apple of mommy's eye, momm's angel). They are both long gone but I still miss them every day. They taught me so much about love and compassion. I moved Louis a total of 10 times in his life and he always bounced right back from long flights and road trips. I couldn’t have gotten through veterinary school without them.
What I Enjoy Doing on my Time Off
I’m a world traveler and love to travel to and stay in places off the beaten track. I have camped on a remote island in Thailand, back packed around Egypt and Israel and taken 10 flights in 14 days around Vietnam and Malaysia.
Closer to home I’m an avid snowboarder and love to go out to listen to live music and DJs. I am a well know collector of shoes and have been known to wear high heels all day at work but not on surgery days!
