Mission Statement

It is my mission as a co-owner and lead veterinarian at Mt. Tabor Veterinary Care to grow as a brave, effective, and compassionate leader to my team, and to provide a comfortable and safe workplace – all the while continuing to provide comprehensive and loving care to my patients and their families, to empower them with the knowledge and options they need to make empathetic choices for their beloved pets, and to help my patients be as comfortable as possible in the veterinary setting.

The Loves of My Life

My husband Jason and I have two lovely whippets, Delilah and Supernova. Nothing makes me happier that seeing them run. I have learned so much from each dog who has blessed by life. My last whippet, Lou, taught me immeasurable things about the meaning of life and love and how to be a good doctor, as he had a lot of peculiar medical needs. Tommy before him was a brave adventurer like no other. Dee is a doll and a love, but very flighty, and she is a great teacher of patience and persistence. I have fallen head over heels in love with her. Nova is resilient, young, and energetic – a fresh, deep breath!

Passions and Hobbies

My religion is the outdoors. My soul feeds on the trees, the land, the sky, the sea, and the mountains. I love to sleep outdoors, swim in lakes and rivers, soak up the sun after exhausting myself with a serious hike, bask in mountain vistas, and watch the sun rise and set over the peaks. My favorite trips are those where I have everything I value with me – my husband and my dogs, in the outdoors. There is nothing else that I desire.
